Speaking Engagements

Ideas I Bring to the Stage

I work closely with philanthropy to understand how resources move, and closely with leaders to see what helps them and the organizations they lead grow.

That vantage point has shaped the questions I care about most. What does it take to build organizations that can sustain their impact over time? How do leaders navigate growth and transition? How can philanthropy support not only programs, but also the people, systems, and infrastructure that make long-term change possible?

I bring a practitioner's perspective grounded in more than a decade of working alongside funders, founders, nonprofit leaders, artists, and movement builders. My work is driven by a belief that when we invest in leadership, organizational strength, and relationships, we create the conditions for lasting impact.

Speaking Topics

  • How philanthropic platforms can function as system designers, not just funders

  • Fiscal sponsorship as a tool for organizational infrastructure and governance

  • Portfolio-based learning and cross-organizational strategy

  • Supporting arts and culture organizations through growth and leadership transitions

  • Governance for founders, CEOs, and boards at critical inflection points

I enjoy conversations that connect ideas to practice and bring together people working to build stronger leaders, organizations, and communities.

Breaking Down Barriers
National Network of Fiscal Sponsors
November 5-7, 2025
Phoenix, Arizona

Past Speaking Engagements

In my role as the Director of Fiscal Sponsorship at Proteus Fund, the Ops Collective invited me to serve as a panelist, speaking on how fiscal sponsors can evolve from administrative managers into true organizational partners and what that shift requires structurally, relationally, and strategically. The conversation centered on how sponsors can better solicit, hear, and act on feedback from the projects they support.

As a philanthropy practitioner, the Master’s in Creative Leadership program at Minneapolis College of Art and Design invited me to speak at this invitation-only event. The roundtable discussion was a gathering designed to help leaders across sectors drive transformational change during a year-long exploration of spatial justice, examining what it would take to center spatial justice as cities imagine their future landscapes and social arrangements.

ConnectUP! Institute

April 14-15, 2023
